ZEN WATERLOO

WHEN

• Zazen occurs every Saturday.

• The schedule consists as follows:

  • 10:30 am - 11:10 am  - Zazen.

  • 11:10 am - 11:25 am - Taiso.

  • 11:30 am - 12:10 pm - Zazen.

  • 12:10 pm - ~12:30 pm - Chanting of Heart Sutra.

Important notes
 

• Door closes sharp at 10:30 and at 11:30.

• Arriving sharp on time for Zazen does not help you at all. Instead give yourself time to arrive some 10 minutes before; this way, you will have time to settle down and prepare psychologically and physically for Zazen.

• If you are new to the practice of Zazen, please arrive at 11:00, so that you can be given proper instructions.

• Attendance to first sitting (10:30-11:10) requires permission.

• If you arrived late for Zazen, wait outside the Zendo in silence until door opens.
